Kids Coding Day: Cultivating Curiosity
Date: Saturday, September 24, 2016
This hands-on drop-in event will help inspire a generation to create and innovate through computer coding activities. Aimed for elementary school families, children will have the opportunity to use their imaginations to design projects using free computer coding software and other sequencing activities. Parents are encouraged to join in the fun! Families will learn the importance of creativity and design skills to enhance their children’s development and the role libraries can play in making this happen.
